The power of cold - how to become stronger and more efficient with the Iceman method

For generations we have been taught to avoid the cold and to dress warmly to avoid getting sick. Wim Hof practices the opposite: he exposes his body to temperatures below freezing without feeling any pain or damage to his health. He gained international fame because he ran a marathon barefoot and wearing only a hat and shorts near the Arctic Circle at minus 20 degrees Celsius and swam through arctic ice.
The Dutchman uses a special breathing and concentration technique he developed to keep his body temperature constant and thus strengthen his immune system through the cold. In order to benefit from the positive effect of the cold on health and performance, you don't have to be an extreme athlete or swim in the Arctic Ocean. It is enough to take regular cold showers in a certain way and use Wim's breathing techniques. This not only has a positive influence on the immune system and metabolism, but also diseases such as rheumatism, Crohn's disease, asthma, various inflammations and even depression can be defeated or at least weakened.
